Johann Sebastian Bach is a distinguished composer of traditional music. His recent appearance on the rec.music.classical.guitar newsgroup attracted interest because, although he has composed for voice and for many other instruments, he is not yet known to have written anything for guitar. Perhaps something is in the works.

Many web pages assert that J S Bach died in 1750. If true, these rumors would cast doubt on the authenticity of Bach's recent message, but nothing definite can be said about this until musicologist Matanya Ophee gives his opinion [1].

Kent Murdick is an educator whose expressive style of playing has often been compared to that of guitarist John Williams [2].

Little is known about the mysterious TroyIII, so we too will have to exercise our imagination [3].
